During a visit, I walk outside to find their kids already playing in the yard with the neighbors kids - it was so heartwarming to see them fitting right into the neighborhood! How to save on your flip project? Step 1: Have a dad who knows how to do it all! 👷‍♂️😅 In all seriousness, I just want to take a moment to appreciate the hardest working man I know—my dad! Yesterday, I showed up to the flip project and found him out in the backyard, pouring rain and all, raking up thatch and doing yardwork all damn day. His response when I show up “I’m going to be sore tomorrow!” 😂 Even though he sold Brennan & Co and retired this year, he’s back up there in attics installing HVAC, which lets be really, he hasn’t done that in decades! He’s also become a demo worker, painter, general contractor, landscaper, designer, you name it! He knows the ins and outs of every single trade, and when things go haywire or something is done wrong, he is the first to notice and make sure it is done right.
